EVIE’S EAR TUBES

🌷Evie got ear tubes (4/23) this past week. Being someone who has had so many surgeries, I was not too scared. Plus, I asked a bunch of parents about their experience with ear tubes, and all either said (1) they were game changer or (2) they fell out and didn't help much. In other words, no frightening or bad reviews.

Phil was a little more nervous, but also knew our little one deserved to feel better than she has. After all, even at her pre-op, the doctor said she had a nasty double ear infection.

We both had been warned (by friends, colleguees, and the doctors,) that babies normally wake up quite angry. Leave it to little Evie to be a unicorn (the nurse's word, not ours). 

Evie woke up, slightly groggy, and very excited for snacks and juice. The only time she fussed was when we took her beloved teddy grams away so we could leave the clinic (her first time trying this sweet treat)!
