PREPARING FOR THE NEW
🌷This week, we learned Evie will be officially moving to the next classroom on January 26th. She should have been there at one, but there was not enough room. We’re sad to leave behind Ms. Amber and Ms. Najah, but Evie is definitely getting bored with the babies. She got to spend some time with the “big kids” and has thrived. She’s also decided to hit a 12-14 month sleep regression, and thus, we’ve been up every night, in the middle of the night, with her. It’s been brutal. At least her not sleeping through the night is the exception and not the rule. I cannot imagine have a baby that still woke up multiple times in the night. I say that, knowing that at some point, we want another one, so we’re signing up for it. However, when you have two fulltime working parents, no sleep is its own kind of hell. Regardless, Evie continues to practice her standing (we have an IEP coming out next week to evaluate her,) and we continue to bask in her giggles, even if we are exhausted. 🌷
