CHRISTMAS JOY

🌷Evie was a month old for her first Christmas. This year, she got to open a bunch of presents, try a bunch of food, and celebrate the holiday with her favorite people. A mass with us and her grandparents (and us) on Christmas Eve, presents on Christmas morning with us (after I accidentally woke her up an hour early,) a lunch with my side of family (where we discovered she loves artificial crab meat,) and a very silent Christmas night. The holidays feel more special with our little one. I’ve always heard, holidays with kids allows you to re-experience the magic. This is certainly true. As special as this year was, I so look forward to the next Christmas, especially as Evie understands more and more about the holiday. And to end the week with Evie’s first trip to the Children’s museum was icing on our very special holiday cake. 🌷
