OLYMPIAN EVIE!

🌷We were all happy to have Phil back. Not just from his work trip (although, that was true,) but also “back to his normal self.” A sick Phil is a terror. Having the Phil I know around is such a blessing. Sure, he can drive me nuts with all his singing and antics, but I’ll take that any day over the miserable Phil.

So, as Phil recovered, Evie went down for the count. A sinus infection sent her home (and to the doctor) with a 103 fever. Thank goodness for her grandma. Evie got to spend almost two full days with one of her favorite people, building forts, and snuggling to infinity. Thankfully, Evie was doing well enough to go back to school on Thursday – and thank goodness, because school held “baby Olympics” on Friday. After seeing all the activities planned, and the constant pictures during the day – the obstacle course! The ball bouncing! The bob sledding! – I can’t imagine her missing it.

As for Phil and I, we finally got to have our anniversary dinner that Hand Foot and Mouth took away!🌷
