RSV + DEI!

🌷Our peach got hit with a double ear infection and RSV. Mom got hit with solo parenting (and then, RSV.) Thankfully, my parents helped and Evie was in the best of spirits by Tuesday. In fact, she has been sleeping and napping better than she ever has, and has been in the most giggly, happy moods. I know I will miss these days – mornings with her drinking her apple juice-spritzed water and laying her head on my shoulder.

Phil traveling for work is always a struggle. It’s not so much him gone; it’s the mental gymnastics. The what ifs, the loneliness, and then frankly, our communication. We definitely struggle when he’s away, and it’s clearly something for us to work on. We both have our perspectives – he just wants to be home. He doesn’t “like” traveling for work, and he feels like I make him feel guilting for doing so. I, on the other hand, don’t want him to feel guilty, but want him to acknowledge that the mental load because heavier when he’s away. Again, thankfully I have my parents help. I get overwhelmed thinking about not having their help.

Phil arrived home safely, Evie was in the best spirits, and I fell to the RSV. Most importantly, Phil remained healthy (can you imagine the nightmare he would be if he got sick AGAIN?!!!!)🌷
